THE FOUNDERS
Max and Phil — the heart and the brains behind Your Showdown — are connected by more than a long-standing friendship. Much more. Both are convinced that playing games together is a real superpower. Why? So their circle of friends wouldn’t drift apart after graduation, they started organizing private gaming events with mini-games.
And it worked. The concept became so popular it turned into an annual tradition. But in the founders' minds, the idea kept growing. “What works so well in our friend group could be just as exciting for companies, sports clubs, or kids’ birthday parties. Really, it’s for everyone,” explains Phil Dieckmann.
In December 2022, everything suddenly moved quickly: the idea was refined, enhanced, and turned into a solid business plan. And just six months later, Your Showdown opened its doors in Munich. Since then, people have been experiencing what Max and Phil always believed: It’s incredible how much playing together brings people closer.

ANY QUESTIONS LEFT?
Do we sweat at the games?
No worries. Even the “sporty” games don’t demand too much from you physically. You don't sweat a lot and you don't need a change of clothes.
In Your Showdown, are we among ourselves in our group or are we mixed up with other people?
You will be assigned your personal Game Master and will rotate through the location with him. You are completely among yourself in the individual rooms. You may encounter other groups in the hallways and lounge.
We don’t know the exact number of people yet – can we still book?
Book the minimum number first. If more people join, we will adjust the invoice at the venue.
Will the showdown also be offered in English?
Yes, our Game Masters speak English.
Are alcoholic drinks allowed?
Yes. Alcohol consumption during games is permitted. However, we reserve the right to exclude people who are too drunk from the showdown. Fun and games are our priority 🙂
Is the bachelor/bride the center of attention?
Yes! With us you compete together and can really challenge the guest of honor in the games - the perfect setting for a “beat the bachelor” duel.
Can we add our own tasks for the guest of honor?
Talk to us in advance - we will design the program flexibly and can take individual challenges into account for the guest of honor.
Is this also suitable for mixed groups (men and women)?
Absolutely. Our games work for every group composition - whether it's a pure men's/women's group or mixed.
Can we bring our own decorations?
You are welcome to decorate your area after consultation. Just talk to us in advance.
How big should the group be?
JGAs work even for small groups; typical groups are around 5-15 people. Larger groups are also possible.
