It all started with idea in a small group of friends that had the vision of making gaming and the joy it brings with it accessible for everyone.
This is us. This is Your Showdown.
Max and Phil, the heart and brain behind Your Showdown, share more than just a long-standing friendship—much more. They’re convinced that playing together is a true superpower. Why? To keep their friend group connected after finishing school, they began organizing private gaming events with mini-games. With great success. The concept was so well-received that it became a beloved annual tradition. But the idea kept growing in the minds of the two founders.
“What works for our circle of friends is surely interesting for companies, sports clubs, kids’ birthday parties—really for everyone,” explains Phil Dieckmann.
In December 2022, everything happened quickly: the idea was refined, improved, and turned into a concrete business plan. Just six months later, Your Showdown opened its doors in Berlin. Since then, people have experienced every day what Max and Phil have long known: the incredible power of connection through playing together.
Our vision is to sustainably strengthen communities across Europe in an original, playful way by establishing our concept as a completely new industry that brings interpersonal relationships back to life in the physical world and reaches people everywhere.
