Compete in 10 exciting and varied games – from buzzing in on clever quiz questions to tackling strategic challenges and thrilling action tasks. Professionally hosted and reminiscent of a real TV show atmosphere, the Game Show delivers top-tier excitement and entertainment across five themed worlds on more than 1,600 square metres. We play from four people and up to 180 guests, at Königsberger Straße 100, close to Ronsdorfer Straße underground station. Collect points together, cheer for your teammates, and celebrate your achievements until the winning team is crowned in a stylish awards ceremony – a corporate party that will be talked about long after the celebration ends.
How your company party runs
A game show is like a TV quiz show, except you are the contestants. After the welcome we split you into two or three teams on site, drawn by lot together with your game master, so departments mix by themselves. Then it starts: ten games picked from a pool of over 100, spread across five themed worlds, each with its own set and its own theme. From quiz questions on the buzzer through action-packed challenges to tactical and fiddly skill tasks, there is something for every type of player – and nobody needs to be athletic. Your game masters host everything live, explain every game and keep the pace up, with humour and a genuine TV-show feeling – in German or fully in English. Point by point the tension builds, and the live ranking stays open until the very last game. After 2.5 hours it is time for the award ceremony: the winning team is crowned in front of everyone, and you leave with something to talk about for weeks. We play indoors and whatever the weather, from four people and up to 180.
THE FOUNDERS
Max and Phil — the heart and the brains behind Your Showdown — are connected by more than a long-standing friendship. Much more. Both are convinced that playing games together is a real superpower. Why? So their circle of friends wouldn’t drift apart after graduation, they started organizing private gaming events with mini-games.
And it worked. The concept became so popular it turned into an annual tradition. But in the founders' minds, the idea kept growing. “What works so well in our friend group could be just as exciting for companies, sports clubs, or kids’ birthday parties. Really, it’s for everyone,” explains Phil Dieckmann.
In December 2022, everything suddenly moved quickly: the idea was refined, enhanced, and turned into a solid business plan. And just six months later, Your Showdown opened its doors in Düsseldorf. Since then, people have been experiencing what Max and Phil always believed: It’s incredible how much playing together brings people closer.
And it worked. The concept became so popular it turned into an annual tradition. How exactly is the process?
For the pure Game Show event you should plan a total of 2.5 hours. Arrive 5–10 minutes before start time. You will then be divided into teams and immerse yourself in the Game Show for 2.5 hours with up to 10 games from 5 themed worlds including an award ceremony.
What payment methods are there?
You can pay flexibly by invoice, credit card, instant transfer and PayPal. Payments on site are not possible.
What are the prices?
€39 per person plus base fee. Monday to Saturday: €50 base fee, 2.5 hours Game Show with up to 180 people. Sundays: €34 per person, no base fee, 2 hour Game Show with up to 180 people.
I don’t know exactly how many guests are coming. Do I need to know the exact number when booking?
Book for the maximum number first. If the number drops, you can change it free of charge up to 7 days before your Showdown.
Do we sweat at the games?
No, our games are designed to focus on action and fun without making you sweat.
In which languages do you offer the game show?
Our Game Show is available in German and English. If desired, we can also offer the event in sign language - please contact us in advance.
For what group sizes is a company party possible?
From small teams to 180 people at our venue; Events for up to 1000 people are even possible with the Showdown Van.
Is this also suitable for anniversaries or summer parties?
Yes. Whether it's the end of the year, a company anniversary or a summer party - our Game Show is suitable for all occasions.
