THE FOUNDERS
Max and Phil — the heart and the brains behind Your Showdown — are connected by more than a long-standing friendship. Much more. Both are convinced that playing games together is a real superpower. Why? So their circle of friends wouldn’t drift apart after graduation, they started organizing private gaming events with mini-games.
And it worked. The concept became so popular it turned into an annual tradition. But in the founders' minds, the idea kept growing. “What works so well in our friend group could be just as exciting for companies, sports clubs, or kids’ birthday parties. Really, it’s for everyone,” explains Phil Dieckmann.
In December 2022, everything suddenly moved quickly: the idea was refined, enhanced, and turned into a solid business plan. And just six months later, Your Showdown opened its doors in Hamburg. Since then, people have been experiencing what Max and Phil always believed: It’s incredible how much playing together brings people closer.

Will the showdown also be offered in English?
Yes, there is also the option of running the Game Show entirely in English.
We don’t yet know the exact number of students – can we still book?
Book for the maximum number first. You can change the number of players at any time up to and including the day of your Showdown.
Can the teaching staff play along?
Sure, of course! The teaching staff plays along for the student prize 🙂
On the day of the excursion there were fewer people than we had previously booked. Will we get the money refunded?
Yes. It's best to let our Game Masters know directly and you'll get the money refunded for the people who didn't show up.
Can students buy drinks on site?
We cannot charge for individual drinks on site. Everything you consume at the showdown will then simply be sent via email as an invoice.
Which grade levels is it suitable for?
From lower school to high school – our mix of games is suitable for classes aged 8 and over and is individually adapted to the age of the class so that every grade level has fun.
How many students can take part?
Bookable from 10 people; Up to 199 people are possible - even entire grades.
How much does a school trip cost?
From €25 per person (from 10 people). Included are 2 hours Game Show with up to 8 games, live moderation, one free drink per child and a unlimited coffee for teachers.
Can the invoice be issued to the school?
Yes. We are happy to issue the invoice to the school; Billing takes place conveniently via email afterwards.
