Need an original idea for your company outing in Munich? Our custom-designed games mix team spirit, excitement and entertainment in just the right proportions. 2.5 hours that are fun, pull the team together and give everyone something to talk about – fully indoors and whatever the weather, for four to 170 people. Over 100 games across knowledge, strategy, action and skill mean a fitting challenge for every team member. And to finish? The award ceremony, where the winning team is crowned in front of everyone – talking points for weeks back at the office.
How your company outing runs
A game show is like a TV quiz show, except you are the contestants. After the welcome we split you into two or three teams on site, drawn by lot together with your game master, so departments mix by themselves. Then it starts: ten games picked from a pool of over 100, spread across five themed worlds, each with its own set and its own theme. From quiz questions on the buzzer through action-packed challenges to tactical and fiddly skill tasks, there is something for every type of player – and nobody needs to be athletic. Your game masters host everything live, explain every game and keep the pace up, with humour and a genuine TV-show feeling – in German or fully in English. Point by point the tension builds, and the live ranking stays open until the very last game. After 2.5 hours it is time for the award ceremony: the winning team is crowned in front of everyone, and you leave with something to talk about for weeks. We play indoors and whatever the weather, from four people and up to 170.
THE FOUNDERS
Max and Phil — the heart and the brains behind Your Showdown — are connected by more than a long-standing friendship. Much more. Both are convinced that playing games together is a real superpower. Why? So their circle of friends wouldn’t drift apart after graduation, they started organizing private gaming events with mini-games.
And it worked. The concept became so popular it turned into an annual tradition. But in the founders' minds, the idea kept growing. “What works so well in our friend group could be just as exciting for companies, sports clubs, or kids’ birthday parties. Really, it’s for everyone,” explains Phil Dieckmann.
In December 2022, everything suddenly moved quickly: the idea was refined, enhanced, and turned into a solid business plan. And just six months later, Your Showdown opened its doors in Munich. Since then, people have been experiencing what Max and Phil always believed: It’s incredible how much playing together brings people closer.
And it worked. The concept became so popular it turned into an annual tradition. With our Showdown Van we deliver the full event experience straight to your location – you pick the place, we bring the action. Our mobile Game Show runs on a programme we agree with you beforehand: over 100 games across knowledge, strategy, action and skill are on the table. Small team or several hundred guests – we play from 25 up to 1,000 people, Germany-wide. And the best part? Our professional Game Masters handle everything. How does the process work?
Once you arrive, you can enjoy a drink while the teams are drawn. Your 2.5 hours long Game Show then starts: 5 themed rooms and up to 10 varied games before the winning team is announced at the award ceremony.
Are the games also suitable for people with physical limitations?
Our location is wheelchair accessible and the games are designed so that everyone can participate. Please inform us in advance about individual needs.
What payment options are there?
You can choose from invoice, credit card, instant transfer and PayPal. Payments on site are not possible.
In which languages does the game show take place?
We offer our Game Show in German and English.
Is there parking on site?
Paid parking is available directly on the street.
Can you purchase drinks individually and pay for them on site?
You can purchase drinks on site. Billing takes place subsequently via PayPal, invoice or credit card.
What are the prices?
€39 per person plus base fee. Monday to Saturday: €50 base fee and 2.5 hours Game Show with up to 170 people. Sundays: €34 per person, no base fee and 2 hours of Game Show with up to 170 people.
Can the number of participants be changed at short notice?
Last-minute changes are possible as long as the group size remains in increments of 18. Please tell us in good time about larger changes; our terms apply if the number is lower.
Do we sweat at the games?
Don't worry - the focus is on action and fun without breaking a sweat.
Is the company outing also possible in bad weather?
Yes. Our event takes place completely indoors - so you are independent of the weather.
Do we receive a company invoice?
Yes, with VAT shown on your company name; Convenient payment by invoice.
